We deliver on our truck
Iron Box runs its own tilt-bed trucks. The driver tilts the bed and slides the container to ground level. Most residential and rural deliveries run 15–20 minutes once on site. You get a delivery window, not a 6-hour slot.
Use it, return when ready
Month-to-month terms. No penalty for returning early. When your project wraps, call to schedule pickup. You are invoiced for the time used, not rounded up to the nearest month.
If you need something beyond a standard box, Iron Box can add roll-up doors, shelving, electrical, or insulation at delivery. A rental can also convert to a purchase at any point, including container ADU and workshop builds. See container modifications.

Do You Need a Permit to Rent a Container in Oregon?
How Does Delivery Work, and What Does My Site Need?
- ✓Level ground. Minor slope is workable. Steep grade or soft mud needs a gravel base or compacted pad. Call ahead and describe your surface.
- ✓Length clearance: ~80 feet. The tilt-bed truck needs approximately 80 feet of clear approach. Tight driveways are the most common access issue.
- ✓Overhead clearance: 14 feet minimum. Overhead utility lines are the second most common access issue. Confirm clearance before booking.
- ✓Ground surface. Gravel, concrete, compacted dirt, and asphalt all work. Soft grass or mud may need a gravel base, especially from October through May.
- ✓Driveway width. If your driveway is under 10 feet wide or has a tight corner, flag it when you request the quote.
If you’re placing the container from mid-October through early May, a gravel or compacted-base pad protects the floor rails from ground moisture. Creswell receives about 52 inches of rain per year, with measurable precipitation on roughly 120 days (WeatherSpark, 2024). A container on bare clay in November is fine on day one. By March it may not be.
